Anton Ryazantsev

Anton began his tattooing journey in 2006 and says “I never thought that my hobby would eventually grow into a career, lifestyle and culture.” From having attended art school at a young age, Anton now uses his skills to apply a widely artistic approach to tattooing. For 7 years Anton worked in one of the best studios in Moscow, before visiting many countries in Europe and the USA as a guest artist. Now situated at No Regrets Studios Cheltenham, Anton specialises in realism and abstract realism in both colour and black and grey.

Where are you from? Hi, I'm Anton. I was born in Russia, I moved to the UK a couple of years ago and am currently here permanently.

How long have you been tattooing? I started tattooing around 2006. It wasn't very serious, more for friends.

What is your background? Before becoming a tattoo artist, I always wanted to play drums in a rock band. but in order to be a rock star, it was necessary to get some kind of tattoo. After that, the interest went towards tattoo culture. I graduated from college in the restoration of art furniture. and a couple of years of art school.

What style do you specialise in? My favourite style is realism and abstract realism.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to focus on self-improvement and I like to take part in various sports and extreme sports such as snowboarding and wakeboarding.

What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do? Abstract realism, new school.

What’s the coolest tattoo you’ve done? I love the abstract flower leg sleeve I did for one of my clients.
