With every appointment, Daniel seeks to bring his clients exclusive art with an anatomical body fit, using the freehand when necessary. Whenever possible Daniel likes to participate in conventions, in which he has already won many awards. He also has previously taught workshop classes, passing on his knowledge of tattooing to others.

Where are you from? Brazil

How long have you been tattooing? 8,5 years

What inspired you to become a tattoo artist? The desire to live through art.

What is your background? I’ve been drawing and painting my whole life. As a teenager, I started doing graffiti, and through that, I came into contact with tattooing; it was love at first sight. I also began studying art more seriously, taking painting and drawing courses. Later, I attended university for Graphic Design and Fine Arts, but I didn’t finish either degree because becoming a good tattoo artist requires spending countless hours in the studio every day. In many ways, tattooing is like a university of its own.

What style do you specialise in? Black and grey realism, fantasy, custom lettering

What do you like to do in your spare time? Sports, movies, video games, go to the pub

What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do? Fantasy, medieval and dark fantasy

What’s the coolest tattoo you’ve done? It’s difficult to think about just one, but I love all the tattoos related to fantasy theme that I did. These are the ones where I can express my creativity better
