Originally from Somerset and now calling Devon home, Steph began her tattooing journey in 2021. Inspired by her childhood passion for art and a pivotal visit to a tattoo studio at age 12, she was drawn to the vibrant culture and creativity. Steph is a resident artist at No Regrets Studios Exeter and loves creating both fineline black and grey designs and bold black traditional styles. While she treasures all her works, she particularly enjoys the lively atmosphere of flash days with her regular clients.

Where are you from? Somerset originally, Devon for the last 7 years.

How long have you been tattooing? I started in April 2021.

What inspired you to become a tattoo artist? I've always been drawn to art, even as a kid. When I was 12, I accompanied my mom's boyfriend to get what I thought was the world's coolest Sid Vicious portrait tattooed on his back (It was actually the worst one anyone has ever seen). The studio was filled with vibrant flash art covering every inch of the walls, and the tattoo artist's wife, who was covered in tattoos herself, was incredibly kind to me. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be part of this world.

What is your background? I did art in college, hoping to find a tattoo apprenticeship afterwards.

What style do you specialise in? Fineline black and grey style or bold black traditional style.

What’s your favourite kind of tattoo to do? I love the classics. Roses, lady heads, skulls, eagles, scorpions etc.

What’s the coolest tattoo you’ve done? I couldn’t choose, I’m lucky to have a few regulars who book flash and that’s always a super fun day.
